Secret Wars 2099 #1. It was okay. I think it'll play better in trade.
Secret Wars Inferno #1. Pleasantly surprising.
Secret Wars Journal #1. The 1602 Kate Bishop story was disappointing in spite of the Punisher Sheriff and, y'know. The presence of Kate Bishop. Which usually improves a comic automatically. The Egyptia story was pretty cool though.
Secret Wars Old Man Logan #1. Haven't read it yet, but I hear good things.

    Aw shucks.

This lot actually contained issues 1-20, two annuals, the -1 Flashback, and a square bound issue with Doctor Strange. I remember one of the geeks mentioned they loved these books (maybe it was @Adam_Murdough ?) - I've never read any of the series, but liked the concept so when I saw them, I just placed them on my "watch list" and set a reminder on my phone. Also picked up issues 1-3 of Amazing Spider-Girl from the same seller for the same price, a little less for shipping too, which was very reasonable.

Probably just someone trying to liquidate their collection. I suppose it's a fate that awaits us all, eventually.

Great purchase! Untold Tales is one of my favorite Spidey series.

Also, if you don't own it already, look for Amazing Spider-Man Annual '97 when you're back issue hunting. It's a nifty tie-in with Untold Tales Annual '97. The Untold annual introduces a villain called Sundown and the Amazing annual brings him back into the present day continuity which adds some cool legitimacy to Busiek's stories in continuity.

Picked up the Vertigo adaptation of Neil Gaimen's Neverwhere from my LCS after winning it in an auction on eBay. Won issues 1-8 for $3! I thought it was the complete story, but it appears as though it's a nine issue story. D'oh! Now I gotta track down #9.

Grayson #9 - I've enjoyed the series from the beginning. Having an appearance by a Knight from Checkmate in the original costume made this issue all the better!
