As I'm reading the immediate issue after Spider-Island, I realized that Carlie Cooper wasn't going away any time soon, and my relief that she was making an exit from Peter's life in Spider-Island was short-lived. Sigh.
Now, usually, I wouldn't be that bothered by a fictional love interest of all things, but Dan Slott has said a few things on social media that really bothered me. I'm reminded why I dropped the book in the first place, and why I cringed whenever I heard his name mentioned. I don't want to call him names, but his unprofessional and disrespectful words against fans with legit criticisms frustrate me. Can't believe I'm catching up on 6 years of books written by him. Someone just please put me out of my misery now...
Sigh. Big Time was fun at the beginning, but little things that made me realized that Slott just doesn't get Peter Parker trouble me. I'm worried about my enjoyment of my favorite superhero title.
