This week's episodes of Watchmen Minute, minutes 66-70, have a friend of mine that came about because of SuperShow, Chad Burdette, aka @UnknownFanboy , as a guest! Listen here or in your favorite podcatcher. More CGS friends to will be guests between now and when we end in a few months.
Episode 78- The Trial Of The Watcher Popping back into Captain Marvel’s series to see how many times Uatu has actually interfered (hint- it’s a LOT). Including that one time with Adam, which set him to fight Thor! For more on that fight see episodes 3 - 6.
Episode 79- 1000 Clowns! Jon’s here to help us dive into the mind of Adam Warlock. A mind full of trolls, green strangers, fruit pies and clowns. Lots of clowns. Okay. Maybe not a thousand of them but we still got several of them. It’s going to be a long and twisted journey that will take us two episodes to get through, but there is a nice big silver afro waiting for us at the end! So grab your copy of Strange Tales #181 and let’s get started!
Jon and Al are here to finish digging through all they layers of Strange Tales #181. The dig site is only contaminated a few times by Spawn #10, Glibert Gottfried, Growing Pains, 50 Shades of Gray and the Academy of Comic Book Arts. Of course, the big questions is “does the archaeological theme of this description work or even make sense?” Only future generations will know for sure.
And this past two weeks of episodes of Watchmen Minute, minutes 111-120, have three guests, a couple of which came about because of CGS, Ian Levenstein, aka @i_am_scifi and Mike Norton, and another comic book professional, one of Marvel's editors, Jordan S. White! Listen here or in your favorite podcatcher. More CGS friends will be guests between now and when we end in a few months.
Episode 81- The Infinity Effect Due to travel and conventions this episode is out later than planned, but at least it’s out! Jon and Al are here to usher in Warlock’s second series! Here comes issue 9! What? That’s right, it’s the Bronze Age. We don’t renumber here, we continue.
Oh yeah, Adam and Thanos finally meet here too. Did I forget to mention that?
