I'll be there...we don't know if we're having the charity table this year or not, but the guest list is delayed because Nick is in charge of the BIG move of the Source. Hopefully he'll have the list to us soon.

Saw pics of the new place... Yowza! Couple of friends went up to the Cities and stopped by the new place and were impressed.
This has become the weekend for my wife and I to take a small weekend get-a-way to the cities. I go to the con while she hits up MOA. That's right..the Rosedale Mall just isn't big enough for her! ;)
It was fun meeting some of the forum members last year. Hopefully this year I'll be able to say hi to the rest of you.
Oh, btw, doesn't Pants have a friend from Minnesota? I think one of these years he should come visit his buddy and stop by SpringCon to say hi. Surely there must be a Golden Corral near by.
Golden Corral you say? There were 2, Rochester and Albert Lea. But as their website shows, none in Minnesota as of now. Old Country Buffet might be a shot.
Stopped at the Source this weekend. Wow, what an amazing setup. Probably the greatest comic/game store I've been to. Huge aisles, tons of product ... really great. I could see parking being a potential problem during events like FCBD. Even on a Saturday with gaming going on the parking lot was pretty full. Other than that though, pretty incredible setup. Congrats to the guys over there for a huge upgrade.
Just a couple of days off...everyone getting excited?
Oh yes. I'm glad to see you guys will be doing the "garage sale" again. Last year I came up to you and introduced myself and then walked away without buying anything. I felt like a dope afterwords. I guess I was just flustered after meeting the best dressed man in comics. :D
My #1 goal is to get a Jamal Igle sketch. Hopefully I can get on his list early as I won't be there for Sunday. I'm going for a full body sketch so I'll have to bring the credit card(haven't told the wife yet! lol). The only other sketch that I know I'm getting is one from Chris Johnson who does the Young Justice comic. We emailed back and forth and he'll have a Kid Flash piece ready for me to pick up.
Something came up and my wife and I can't both come down to the cities this weekend. So that means I'll be waking up and leaving the house at 4:30 AM to get down there in time to stand in line. Hopefully it doesn't rain like last year!
I have to apologize to folks, due to circumstances beyond my control, I won't be able to make it to the con tomorrow. Dana and others will still be manning the charity booth, and they will be NEW stuff there, but I won't be able to make it.
Which sucks, but I have to take care of my health.
Yep, just a combo of a serious lack of sleep (due to the overnight job) and a stomach flareup. Thankfully, I know how to take care of the stomach now, even though they STILL have no idea what the problem is.
I hope everyone had a blast! I've got a few fun stories on the podcast next week about it.

Best Con I can actually afford to go to!

Oh, and I'm glad to see Bill Willingham will be back this year.
Of course having Allen Bellman there will just be fantastic. It will be an honor just to shake the man's hand.
Another great list of guests this year!
Angel Medina
Brent Schoonover
Don Rosa
to name a few..
