A friend got me a ticket to the first fan showing tonight in London.

Right...some non-spoilery bullets
- Yes there's a credits scene, it's in the middle rather than right at the end. It made my brain go pop.
- It's a very funny film, snappy dialogue aplenty
- The story makes sense and there's some good character development
- I still don't like the Cap costume
- Saw it in 2D, will be seeing it in 3D on opening day to compare
- I rate it as my favourite superhero film, I think it's the best of the Marvel films by some margin.
- Good performances all round. I think Hiddleston as Loki was probably my favourite but there wasn't a clunker among them.
- Whilst it's quite long, the pace is pretty frantic

A-ha! Cracked it :) Right, will post some light spoilers later for the daring. But won't be posting any major plot points or anything of that ilk as I don't want to ruin it for anyone.- Black Widow uses her widow's bite stinger things
- I was surprised by how few Marvel easter eggs there were, but that was balanced by how many recurring characters appeared
- Stan's cameo is pretty late in the day
- Hawkeye's robo-quiver is pretty damn cool
- Maria Hill is much less annoying in the film than I found her in the books
And I look forward to seeing a certain villain on the big screen! (If my pal is to be believed....)
And I don't even watch Doctor Who!
