    hello group,

Please take a gander at some of the deals I have posted on “ye olde” e-bay

I consider this (sort of) my “SuperBowl Sale” so I put the Wesley Snipes Blade Marvel Legend up (since Wesley was in a Super Bowl movie once) … and the Apocalypse “build-a-figure” and the “The Batman” animated Bane figure (since those look like a football players --- )

    bane_front_CIMG0124-02"

    amongst other cool items…
    blade-front_CIMG0078-02"

    thanks!

Reminds me of the old Newsarama forums when someone posted a statue of Kang the Conqueror. There were pages to that thread that were nothing but people adding their own quotes to the image. So funny! (I guess, *ahem*, you had to be there)

Crap...all those Batman books...I have this side project of trying to bind all stuff Morrison references in his work...I should probably get to work on figuring out which issues.

Sorry Corwin, I don't have any of the "Strangers in Paradise Pocket books", I read that series in singles. Which I'm going to bind eventually.

There was supposed to be a space before that last sentence, as in it's open to everyone but for some reason sometimes editing a post screws up the formatting.

I am selling over 500 comic books on ebay. My username is itsmye-bay. These were my dad’s comics from the late 60’s early 70’s that he gave to me to sell. Here is what I know about them after looking up how others grade comic books and other things you might want to know. In my opinion, some of these are in really good condition, and some aren’t. He kept these in plastic tubs in the guest closet. Some are still really glossy. I took up close pictures and made sure to get the whole comic in the shot. There are duplicate editions of some comics, so know that the comic in the picture is the exact copy that you will get. I took them to a comic dealer and he showed me the ones I should sell separately and the ones that I should put together. Some of them are worth a lot, some a little. I only charge what the actual shipping cost is. I ship on Mondays and Thursdays, so please be patient for your package. If payment is not received in 3 days after auction, I will consider re-listing it.

Sellers Beware … Alert about scamming buyer…

    Hello group,
I don’t think this scammer is part of the CGS community (I certainly hope not at least) but I am putting this out there for all of you to avoid a buyer called “shaunhull27”

I have been selling on this site for 12 years and never had a buyer like this before … never! (And I don’t like it… it makes Hulk angry)

I have sold three of the same item this year.
One in February… One in March. The third one was bid up for bid in late April and bid on and bought by a person who first tried to extort free shipping from me. Then it took him a week to pay. I shipped immediately and when he received it, he complained about the condition of the package not being accurately described. (Thought the first two buyers had no issues.) He turned me into e-bay resolution center and threatened my perfect feedback score. I sent the refund to maintain my score (since e-bay has a reputation for not backing up sellers IMHO.)

Now if the first two buyers had no problem with the item why should this one? He has numerous unpaid bids chronicled by sellers who have left “positive” feedback with negative comments. (I never considered that but it is the only recourse since e-bay does not allow “Sellers” to leave negative “feedback” about “buyers, no matter how much the buyer deserves it…)

I have contacted all of those sellers who gave him feedbacks with "positive-negatives" and got their stories which include this statement he sent to one woman "I know exactly how eBay works your just choosing not to cancel but whatever pay unnecessary fees if you want to pleasure not doing buissnes with ya"

Aside from his poor spelling, he has only been buying with his current i.d. since February. I speculate that It’s obvious he was banned before and has returned with a new i.d.

S0, remember, on the wild and wooley world of “e-bay”, be careful out there… (and don’t even get me started on their new ten percent fees, or ridiculous free shipping crap, “because UPS and post office are, ya know, free”)
