Spotlights On DC Properties?

I have been listening for a while now and I can't help but notice most(not all) of the spotlights are on either Marvel properties or independent. I love all the spotlights but would love to see justice league, green lantern, aqua man, ECT... Now I know y'all have a lot going on and are busy guys but just figured I would make this suggestion. Thank you for having a great and informative show!

Weren't there DC spotlights? Hawkman for sure. Wasn't there an Aquaman? Batman? To the archives!

EDIT: just did a quick search and, for example, I found Ep 677 which was a spotlight on Batman in the "Dark Age." So yes there are DC spotlights out there..they're just older episodes.

I know they did Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, Hawkman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, JSA, the history of DC, Legion of Superheroes...

You can download the episodes to a computer and then upload them to your phone.

The search function for the episodes on the CGS website isn't working (*koff* @Pants *koff*).

You can page through them here though if you want ...

Google search of "Spotlight" episodes for CGS

FYI: Some of them, like Superman and Batman, have multiple volumes.

Ahhh yes, the ever tedious task. I plan on doing it myself once I buy myself a desktop computer with alarming amounts of internal storage. The C: drive on my laptop is almost completely full now due to the sheer amounts of music and podcasts I have stored in my iTunes.

I could store it to one of my external units, but then I'd have to connect it everytime I want to update my iPod or iPhone.

The struggle is real for a music fan AND a podcast listener...

Ah, the search doesn't search for episode title, only episode content. For example a search for Daredevil will return all the daredevil spotlight episodes.

That doesn't work for me either. Also, the Spotlight episodes contain the word "Spotlight" in the title ("Spotlight on Superman in the Silver Age "for example)

Okay, it finds "Daredevil" and "Superman" but not "Batman," which is what I had been using as my test search. Weird.

It seems to me that the other anniversary characters deserve the same Spotlight in the... as the Batman/Wonder Woman/Superman and Marvel characters.

Some of the early spotlights were only a part of the episode and were not necessarily named in the episode title. I think the JSA and Flash spotlights are like this.

@brydeemer Just an idea, but is there (or COULD there) be a button where we could download seasons of the show? Or by year? So for those of us who want the "complete run" of CGS (or new listeners), we don't have to download by episode?

Maybe make a "CGS Year One" zip file and let people download and unpack that. Same with Year Two and so on and so forth. Or split it up however you want/think will work best.

Just an idea. I'm really just being lazy...

Wonder Woman's spotlight was never finished. It got up to Wonder Woman in the Silver Age. I was actually pretty sad about that, because I really liked the Bronze Age stuff, beginning with Diana Prince, Wonder Woman (the de-powered Diana), and _loved_ the post crisis Wonder Woman run. Maybe some day it will be completed.
