I have a copy of The Avengers #269 that was bound with two covers, I am not looking to sell it but was just wondering if a mistake like that would have an effect on the price if I were to ever sell it.
Nah, that sort of thing happened all the time when the comics were being printed in Sparta IL. I think a few people collect then, but for the most part, it's one of those things that doesn't affect price.
When I was working at Diamond, we occasionally (not often) saw an entire run with a major printing error that slipped past the checkers at Sparta -- like an issue of a Conan reprint comic that was accidentally slapped with the cover to the ongoing series. As soon as some of the sorters realized there was a problem, Diamond put a hold on releasing the book, and Sparta had to do a new printing with the correct cover.
I might still have a spiderman issue like that. An older book with such an error might be valuable to someone for restoration purposes or something but thats about it.
I have a power man iron fist with two covers. I love it. It does not make it more valuable. I have another comic, Dazzler?, I don't remember off hand, that was printed with no ink on the outside cover
