Pre 2000 I would watch about 2 or 3 hours of TV every night. And had at least 12 shows I couldn't miss each week. Now I am down to watching at most 3 hours a week and have 4 shows I can't miss. Really since the writer's strike of 2007 I have pretty much given up on TV. I much rather read a book/comic,watch a dvd or play a video game. Part of it is I hate reality tv,and I am tired of dramas that are based around doctors,lawyers or cops. I have tired looking into what is airing in Canada,the UK and Australia and it seems even in those countries there is nothing that catches my interest.

Currently the only shows I watch are.

Walking Dead-Which is over until October

Sons of Anarchy-Which I don't think comes back till September

American Horror story-Which I think comes back in October.

Boardwalk Empire-Just recently watched the first 2 seasons in about a week,and now I am gonna pay for HBO just to see the third season.

I saw the DVDs at Target the other day for under $20.

The DVDs are fantastic. Cast/crew commentary is provided for every episode, and season one comes with a Kick Puncher mini-comic book (a mock-up of a comic written by one of the show's cast members). The comic is illustrated by Jim Mahfood. To my knowledge, the show has never been released on blu-ray. @Greg, I know of several online sites that stream television shows, including Community. I'm sure if you poke around a bit. . . . just sayin'.
