The Badger and Black Pearl

I was looking through my old books and found my issues of the badger from first comics and also Mark Hamill's five issue Black pearl. no one I know is a fan of these so i was wondering what others thought of these books. I loved these books despite being mainly a fan of the more traditional superhero books.

    I tried The Badger a couple of times, but I never really got into it. The artwork was usually pretty good, but the story didn’t really appeal to me. I was working at a comic shop at the time, and I liked it enough to read it in the shop from time to time, but not enough to buy it.

    I love the Badger. Earlier this year at a con I got four of the IDW trades that reprint the early Badger stuff. Never read Black Pearl.

    Loved The Black Pearl - great take on public perception of what makes/motivates a "hero" as opposed to the deeper insanity that is the truth. Believe I still have the trade somewhere...might have to drag that puppy out for a re-read soon.
