Dear Friends of WildPig,
We will be reopening our store for regular business on Wed., Sept. 26th at noon. Our regular hours will be Wed. 12-8, Sat. 11-6, and Sun. 12-5. Our new phone number is 908-245-2140. We are located at 14 S. Michigan Ave. in Kenilworth, NJ.
Below you'll find all the details regarding our opening week (including a new raffle!), our new subscription and incentive programs, and our plans for the future. The best lies ahead!
-We will be holding another raffle in celebration of the opening. The raffle items will be on display on Wed., Sat., and Sun. (Sept. 26th, 29th, & 30th) The drawing will occur on Sun, Sept. 30th at 3 PM. Winners must be present to claim their prizes. Every customer through the door will receive a free raffle ticket, and they may purchase additional tickets for $1 a piece. Every customer who stops by on Wed. or Sat., and who joins us on Sun. will receive two free tickets. Here is a list of raffle items for the site:

-Dark Knight Returns Absolute Edition
-Green Lantern Rebirth Absolute Edition
-Kingdom Come Absolute Edition
-Amazing Spider-Man Vol 2 Omnibus (Silver Age)
-Avengers Vol 1 Omnibus (Silver Age)
-Fantastic Four by John Byrne Omnibus
-New X-Men by Grant Morrison Omnibus
-X-Men by Claremont & Lee Vol 1 Omnibus
-Absolute Sandman Volumes 1-4 (all four volumes raffled off as a set!)
We may add a few more items within the next few days.
Store incentives (beginning on Sept. 26th):
-Buy more than 5 new comics during your visit, and receive 25% off the entire batch. We will have new releases from the past few weeks on the shelf.
-Buy three trades/graphic novels, and select a fourth for free (fourth trade must be equivalent to or less than the price of the cheapest trade purchased)
-Bargain comics: Purchase 1-9: $1 a piece.
Purchase 10 or more: 50 cents a piece.
Purchase 50 or more: select 10 extra comics for free.
Purchase 100 or more: select 20 extra comics for free.
(We will be adding new inventory before Wed.)
Subscription Service:
-Reserve a minimum of 10 regular titles a month, and receive 25% off all new releases
(offer does not apply to mini-series and one-shots)
-Receive 20% off all trades/graphic novels
-Pre-order 6 trades a month, and order a 7th for free (7th trade must be equivalent to or less than the price of the cheapest trade ordered).
-15-20% off all other Previews items.
-Free Previews catalog (if ordered ahead of time)
Buying used trades/comics:
WildPig Comics is always on the lookout for used trades and/or comics to add to our extensive bargain inventory. We are always happy to take a look at collections for sale. We only buy in bulk, and typically pay up to 20 cents per comic, and up to $2 per trade. If you are interested in selling your collection, please send us a message via email: wildpig@wildpigcomics.com, or feel free to give us a call during our business hours: 908-245-2140.
Gaming:
In the near future, we will be selling Magic and other collectible card games. We will also be setting up a gaming area for drafts, tournaments, and board game nights. Please stay tuned for further announcements regarding this new venture.
Artist appearances:
We will be scheduling artist appearances in our store on at least a semi-regular basis. Our first scheduled signing is on Sat., Nov. 3rd. The following web comic artists will be appearing:
