Question about Echo (Terry Moore) **Spoilers**

I just finished the Last trade of Echo and then last night I read the first issue of Rachel Rising. I was wondering who the two women at the end of Echo were? There are two ladies at the end of the story that I did not remember from anywhere else in the book. Also, at the begining of Rachel Rising there is another really tall person watching as she emerges from her shallow grave. Is that person at the top of the gulch the same girl from the end of Echo. Are these characters from SIP?

The characters in Echo are from SiP.

I believe the mysterious watcher in RR is somebody else, although Moore has said that all three series are in the same "Mooreverse".
