Recommendations for best/most fun Spider-Man storylines since Brand New Day?

I've read the first 3 or 4 trades' worth of Amazing Spider-Man since Brand New Day, and a few scattered issues and collections since (24/7, for instance, which I enjoyed), and was looking to read more but wasn't sure where to start. Any recommendations?

I would read it all, really every single issue since 600 was wonderful. Specifically "The Gauntlet" story was great.

I’ve picked up a few issues here and there when the artist interested me. What I read of The Gauntlet was good. I particularly like what they did with Rhino. The Roger Stern/Lee Weeks story (#627–629) was fun. Any issue drawn by Marcos Martin or Javier Pulido is worth picking up.

I would agree with "Big Time" also the Rhino, Lizard and Sandman portions of "The Gaunltet" were great.

I really enjoyed the "Shed" arc, issues 629-633. Great story and I loved the Bachalo art.

Picked up the Big Time hardcover (the original version, not the Ultimate Collection) off of Amazon on the cheap last week, and yeah, that was really good. Peter getting that job with Horizon was a really interesting development. Interesting stuff with Phil Urich, too, which is a sentence I never thought I would type.

Not only liked it, but already ordered a copy of the next volume (Matters of Life and Death, iirc) off of eBay.

Don't know if I'll be reading them all from this point (the Marvel Reading Chronology freebie from last week tells me there's more Anti-Venom/Venom coming up... ugh), but I'm interested.

I have to admit I dropped out before Spider-Island...the idea just seemed..I dunno, lame. I may have to give it a shot though because I keep hearing good things about it.

Read up on The Gauntlet, and I don't know if that's what I'm looking for. Unrelenting darkness isn't what I look for in a good Spider-Man story (which is why I actually don't care for Kraven's Last Hunt, for instance).

As for Spider-Island, the idea sounds goofy, but I have to admit I'm intrigued.
