Wanted to ask something but couldn't find an appropriate thread so thought I'd start this one. Basically post any random questions you have about anything here!

My first question. On CGS, how come everyone has a surname except Matt? :)

OK, in Bendis's Avengers, there was an issue where they were on their way to fight some bad guy and they stopped in Detroit, where Luke Cage stopped some drug dealers and announced that that area was under Avengers protection. Was that ever followed up anywhere? It felt like the start of something that never happened.

Yeah, it was Highland Park, Detroit. No, I don't think they ever followed up on this. It was just to show Luke is street level...Which is sort of odd because the trip is cut short as he helps the team fight The Collective..a cosmically powerful being made up of all the energies from the mutants who lost their powers during House of M.

There is an anime I saw once. All I can remember about it is that there are these submarines that travel through the desert under the sand. I remember a group of bloated, larger than life rulers of this land too. Odd, I know, but its been driving me crazy for years trying to figure out what it's called..anyone know?
