Since I don't read many current comics my favorite series will be from stuff I have read this year.
4.Savage Sword of Conan-Before the Dark Horse series this was the closest any comic came to capturing the feel of the R.E. Howard original stories. 3.Walking Dead- I am about 4 trades behind on this. But it is still one of my favorite comics to read. 2.Fables-Almost caught up on this one. And really enjoying it. 1.YEAH!-Reread the series again a few months back and believe if this was published back in the 80s it would have been a hit. It is a great comic to give to kids to introduce them to the medium. Never thought I would read a Peter Bagge all ages comic.
1) More Than Meets The Eye - Very far from what we have seen in Transformers comics of the past. I had horribly low expectations on this book and it turns out every issue has me asking for more.
2) Hawkeye - Does anything need to be said on this one?
Captain Marvel, Earth 2, Revival, Worlds' Finest and Pathfinder; any of these could be my #3.

Avengers Academy
Ultimates/Ultimate X-men/Ultimate Spider-Man they were weaved together pretty well this year so they're kinda together.
2) Yotsuba@! - a bittersweet book, because I remember a time when I was that innocent and loved everything. Fuck you, adulthood.
3) Demon Knights - lord knows you've heard me rail about it enough on here, but folks, it was awesome. I hope they can keep it going in 2013.
