With the holidays and everything, I don't think I ever got around to mentioning to anyone around here that I finished my MLIS program in December and am now officially qualified to be a real live librarian (or guybrarian, as my many female co-workers like to call me now). I am spending a lot of time sending out resumes and waiting by the phone for interview callbacks (which isn't happening so much yet, but eventually!), and generally enjoying all of the things you can do in life when you're not juggling grad school with family needs and a full-time job. Movies, TV, video games, and best of all, reading for pleasure... these are the things I've missed so much!
