Collectible Previews Catalog?

Wow, so the Previews catalog from 2003 that first solicited the first issue of The Walking Dead is as of this post going for $50 on ebay. I have to think this is a fluke.

I know amongst hardcore Valiant fans the Previews and Advance catalogs that had Deathmate previews have some value. Not much but more than you would figure. 2 years ago at a con a dealer was trying to sell his old copies of Previews for $1 each. None sold.

There's a comic shop that I go to whenever I'm in upstate NY. They usually put the old previews out in the front, for people to take.

maybe i should stop doodling in mine while i'm deciding what to order each month.....and probably stop giving them away to the local librarian after i'm done too

Like I always told customers who came into the shop where I used to work to sell their comics, “It’s only worth what someone is willing to pay you for it.” If someone thinks that copy of Previews is worth 50 bucks, more power to them, but I can think of a million better ways to invest your money.
