PBS "Pioneers of Television: SUPERHEROES" to show Jan. 29

This should probably go in the OFF TOPIC section, but I think more people visit this area and I know many of you probably don't want to miss this.

Set your DVRs or tune in! Tuesday, January 29 (7pm or 8pm depending where you're located), PBS will be broadcasting the superhero edition of Pioneers of Television. If you watch TV from the '50s to the '80s, you'll probably see some familiar sights. Check local listings and information here.

Depending on where you are, this has just gotten done, is just starting or will start in an hour or so. So what did you think?

Watching right now. Loved the behind the scenes photos from Batman. Never really watched Wonder Woman, but it seemed pretty corny. Also Linda Carter still looks good

According to what I've read, it appears they will also be replaying the episode on Feb. 5. I didn't hear any new information about the shows other than a couple interesting anecdotes. But the pictures and anecdotes where pretty cool. There's definitely other places to go to explore in more depth; however, it was a fun overview and I would definitely watch again if I got the chance.

While I enjoyed the show, it was predictable in its choices of shows -- and took half the show before it even got to Adventures Of Superman!? No mention of Smallville, which, at the very least, outlasted all of its predecessors by running for a record ten seasons. And no love for MANTIS, the first black superhero on TV!?

Considering that Lyle Wagonner co-starred on Wonder Woman, there should have been some mention that he was up for the roll that Adam West won, Batman.
