That's cool. I wish they'd give us something on The Boondocks. Season 3 ended 2½ years ago and we haven't heard anything since they told us season 4 was headed into production. And that was at Comic Con 2011.

It's kinda weird how much time they take with these 2 Adult Swim shows. The Venture Bros.' first season debuted in summer '04 and they've only produced 4 seasons (55 episodes) in the last 9 years. The Boondocks debuted in late '05 and have only aired 3 seasons (45 episodes) in the last 7 years.

The Venture Brothers is the best animated show on TV and any comics fan not watching it doesn't know what they are missing. So many references to comics, TV, toys, movies etc..

Anyways if seems like the wait has been a lifetime and I'm excited for the new season.

Huzzah! While Venture Brothers may not be the “best animated” show on TV (though it’s certainly not bad in that respect), it probably is the best “animated show” on TV, if you follow my meaning. As for the time between seasons, I know they have a smaller staff now than they did for the first season, so it takes them a bit longer to get the work done.

Actually, the animation in the trailer looks a bit different than past seasons. The designs are still the same, but it looks a bit smoother this time around. Maybe that’s just the short clips making me think that, but it does look a bit different.
