Well I supported a indie comic by BKV & Marcos Martin called "The Private Eye" & it is name your own price donation model. I donated $3.50 to the cause (you could choose more or less). Read the 1st issue. If I had to describe it it's Stumptown upped several notches w/ a twist w/ glorious art to back it all up. I'll be ready for the 2nd issue when it comes out.

Finally got to read this tonight. Fantastic. I am only bummed that it is only (currently) planned for 10 issues. Still, I will buy as much as they want to make.

I absolutely loved this. I agree @David_D , it would be nice to have this go 100+ issues! I hope at one point they kickstart a collected hardcover.

I read issue 2 & it built up to the conclusion masterfully -- BAM, BAM!, BAM!!! like an action/spy movie in a comic wrapped up w/ a twist. I delighted in seeing more characters in this world & more of the futuristic landscape that Martin still is in top form. I eagerly await issue #3 & now time to read even more comics like Detective Comics 19 80 pager.

Don't know if anyone noticed, but they released a "Making Of" this week for download. Really interesting stuff to see how the book came together. Only makes me more excited for issue #4.

Issue #4 went up yesterday. If you aren't reading this I suggest picking it up now! It's a great series and it's pay what you want. I pay 2.99, because I love the book and I want to support it to the end. But if you're unsure, just curious, whatever, you can get it for free. It's exclusively digital with no plans on a print edition, so now's as good a time as any to jump on!
