Checkout the preview shots, they look not so good art wise, I think.

Am I the only one who sees an huge cliff size drop off in the art quality in this issue, compared to the first 6?
I know Lee is busy, but get someone who draws amazing even if its a different style. Am I being to harsh?

I'm not a big Jim Lee fan, but I was very underwhelmed by the art in this one. I've seen Gene Ha's work before and it's usually so clean and nuanced... Maybe the inker used too thick of a line or something.

Of course no matter who penciled the main story, they would be put to shame by Frank in the back...

I actually think the art is better in #7 than the first 6.

I just skimmed through it so maybe I need to go back and look at them side by side, but the panels I saw looked rough.

No one can beat Lee's art if you ask me. But I'm sure DC could find another artist who could do good work as well.

I liked the art. It was different than Lee, sure but it doesn't make it bad. Just different. I think we're all deluding ourselves if we think Jim Lee is going to really be able to make regular monthly deadlines month in and month out. I was fine with the art.

I do not by any means think that Lee is the best and only good artist out there. I mean I love Greg Capullo's art on the current Batman. I even like Moritat's work on All Star Western even tho it seems muddy at times.

I just fell like the art in JL #7 looks rushed and rougher than a book that big. I mean DC's flag ship book should have cover quality art every page. But that is just my opinion, I am by no means saying I am right and that the art is the worse ever lol.

I much rather Lee go finish up All star batman and robin then do more issues of JLA. But I doubt that will ever happen.

I thought the art was just fine, but it's so subjective. I remember loving Ed Benes on JLA a few years ago and other people totally hated it. Who knows.
