We received an in-house announcement today about our head of marketing retiring this August, and he's being replaced by...
"We are pleased to announce the arrival of John Dokes as our new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). John comes to us from Marvel Entertainment where he was the SVP of Integrated Sales and Marketing (Translation, John worked at Marvel Comics, and yes, he has met Stan Lee). John will be in our New York Office and and will maintain an office in State College as well. John will report directly to Joel and will be working closely with Lee on our marketing efforts. John joined just in time for NAB and to help usher in our 50 year anniversary celebration. Please join me in making John feel welcome to the AccuWeather family."
Neat! I'm sure I'll see him around. *makes mental note not to pester the living hell out of the poor guy* :D
