I have played a lot of LucasArts games over the years(who can forget the Monkey Island games?!?!)...I hope everyone who was let go can quickly find new employment.

There were already speculations weeks ago about the fact that 1313 was not going to ever see light of day... that division was already halting production, and not sure of what was going to happen. Shame.
Was Maniac Mansion a LucasArts game? If so that is one of the few LucaArts games I have played.
Yes, it was... and you should seek out Day of the Tentacle, the sequel to it. As a matter of fact, there is an easter egg in the game where you find a computer, and can play the entire Maniac Mansion game within this game.
I want to say I did play Day of the Tentacle at least once years ago. Maniac Mansion I had on my old Apple IIgs and then had the NES version. Such a great game. A few years ago I found that someone had recreated it for modern computers. I downloaded it and really enjoyed it. But lost it when I had to wipe my HD clean almost 2 years ago thanks to a nasty virus.
That's a shame. I thought 1313 looked really cool and was interested in playing that. I still have faith that Disney knows what they are doing but I gotta say, I'm a bit nervous about their handling of the Star Wars franchise thus far.
