NYC people - question for you about the Natural History Museum

How much attitude do they give you if you don't want to pony up the "suggested" admission price of $19 for adults and $10.50 for kids? Headed for NYC this weekend and we want to go, but not if it's going to cost the three of us $50 to get in.

I haven't gotten attitude. And I gave them (possibly less than) 20 for two of us.

None. Don't sweat it. In my experience you give them something, they take it, and make the transaction and no comment is made on what you have given.

Never had an issue and spent many hours there in my college years. Give what u can.
