Hi. I couldn't find any threads on this, so I wanted to ask you. How did AvX grab you? I am going over it again, but the first time I read it I enjoyed it. I loved some parts more than others, and even though I hated to see some beloved characters fall from grace, I very much like the idea of Scott snapping under the weight of the responsability.
I mean, there you are, the great Charles Xavier passed the torch onto you after some pretty big slip ups (like with Danger), and you are the new leader of mutantkind. And BAM: during your leadership, Decimation occurs. So you try to make it better, but each time you try something you fail and/or somebody gets on your case, to the point where one of you main people (Logan) just says "You suck at this, we're going back."
And you snap. You want to be remembered for something great, not for failing and making it work. So the Phoenix comes along, and there you go.
Just saying, that's a theme I loved. Could it be done better? Maybe.
I would love for people to tell me just ONE big thing they liked or disliked abut the event, like I just did. One at a time, so the conversation stays manageble (at first ;) ). What do you think?
