If this was the only work related angst I ever have I'd be very happy....
Everybody here where I work knows that I am a comic book fan/collector. I have people coming by my desk everyday to ask me questions about comics, movies, tv or checking out what character or cover I have as my desktop wallpaper.
As I was dropping off a report to my boss, out of the corner of my eye I see Wonder Woman on his assistant's pc. Never has she shown any interest in comics or characters so I had to ask if she was a fan. Well, kind of, sort of. She said that she and some others are on a company bowling team that does league play and that they play for different charities and always dress as superheroes and she is Wonder Woman. They're mostly DC characters, WW, Batgirl, Flash and GL and they guys change it up with Green Arrow, Batman and Superman. They're looking to add some Marvel costumes.
Jaw dropped, heart stabbed...the twist of the knife came when she said that they just filled an open spot.
