Accident Man, Pat Mills, Martin Emond... Independent film on Kickstarter...

This was an awesome strip, featured in Toxic comic, a short lived antidote to the gleaming white teeth and fine morality of mainstream comics of the time. Comic died due to behind the scenes politics, but this story influenced EVERY anti-hero hit man or spy character ever since. Collected graphic novel finally out next year but independent film now in the works on Kickstarter.

Yes, I am pushing it! The art was awesome, the plots vicious, dark humoured and cunning. A film would be amazing. a fine Brit balance to the USA cheese (even though I do actually like em, I have that allergy to too much dairy and moralising)

Martin Emond was a great artist who killed himself. Some of his characters were ripped off or tributes( depending on your perspective) by Pink in her U + Ur Hand video. He had a unique vision that really brought out the Accident Man character.
