Brown suit is still my favorite.

Yeah, I always thought the brown suit was the best version of Wolverine's basic outfit. This pretty much confirms it in my eyes.

He's had some cool story specific looks too.

Days of Future Past, Weapon X, Old Man Logan, etc

Agreed. I do think the X-Force is a close second.

  • I like his original costume a lot. Dissapointed to not see anyone mention it.

You can't go wrong with the Classic Yellows, but gosh does he have a couple of stinkers

It's no wonder that when making the X-Men films they just made up a new outfit for him.

The Classic Yellow I is my favorite.

I know a lot of people love the brown and it does make more sense because in real life wolverines are brown. Also brown would be a lot easier then yellow to blend in with the forrest when Logan is hunting but when I see think ....yuck brown really.

100% agree that brown is kind of horribly disgusting in almost every way. I cannot understand why people like it so much it.

Aside from the X-Force costume, the brown is my favorite. I hate the maskless costumes. Black is my favorite color, & with the X-Force also including the mask, its the only reason its a tight number 2 for me.

You 2 basically it why I prefer the brown. Wolverines are brown, he's a hunter/stalker, & he's an animal. The yellow with blue never made much sense to me. If the justification is that "its pretty looking" (reversing the "horribly looking brown") 'pretty' is not a word I'd associate with Wolverine.

That makes complete sense, I don't that I have ever been totally happy with this costume. The new one teased with Inhumanity is intriguing.

I also think some of the coloring in that piece seems a little off. A lot of the colors, the brown and tan and others, look a lot more flat and less flattering than they do in the books (even in the older, pre-computer color books).

I would say this is a better example of that brown and tan costume and colors.

I can appreciate where you are coming from, the context makes a real difference.
