Disney debuted at Walt Disney World an Avengers themed monorail. Looks pretty sweet.

Man what difference a year makes. I was there this time last year and I couldn't find any mention of Marvel anywhere at Disney. It was during the lead up to Thor and Captain America movies and it was like a ghost town of Marvel. Hopefully this is the beginning of the Marvel Universe at WDW.

According to the blog post I linked to, there's more coming in California and Florida. And I've seen that blog before and remember stuff from there when I lived in CA and went to Disneyland frequently and I can tell you he's usually quite accurate.

I wonder if this is how Disney can get around the Universal Islands of Adventure lock on the Marvel characters - maybe Universal gets the comic versions, and Disney can use the movie versions?

I don't think so. See the blog post I linked to. There is no movie version of Namor (at least not yet).
