Making Room for Trades

I get nearly all my comics in trades and my comic book room is starting to fill up. I still have some room and time To think of a fix but sometime in 2014, i am going to run out of space.

How do the rest of you deal with space issues with trades?

I had this issue when I had a one bedroom apartment. I had stacks on comics by my bed, on the kitchen table, in front of the fire place (never used it). I went so far to get rid of a small loveseat in my living room in order to get another bookshelf for comics.

My solution was I moved in with my girlfriend into a 3 bedroom house. I now have a whole room for comics. I know that solution won't work for everyone, but I know your pain!

One solution I might have for you is to sell stuff you read and either didn't like that much or don't ever plan to reread.

I like this idea. I will add a large comic book room, a small bowling alley, and a indoor track.

Well there's no room for a bowling alley, but the track comes in handy when moving from shelf section to shelf section.

We're actually putting on a new bedroom and bathroom next year...the wife said no to it being a comic room :(

I've gone digital on a lot of the stuff that isn't necessarily as sentimental to me. That's made a lot of space.

Digital is not for me. I just love print and am just stuck my ways (get off my lawn!!)

I still have room for at least one more bookcase in the room. Maybe I can add some shelves higher up on the walls...hmmm

If building something like this was possible (knowing that they will take the money just the same) i would like to see the contractor's face when i explain my comic book room/bowling alley/indoor track idea
