Goblin Nation

As the saga of Otto-Spidey winds toward its ending, we begin the 6 part Goblin Nation...and I liked the first issue!

Norman Osborne has been planning his attack on Spider-Man for quite a while, and knows that it's not Peter. I liked that Oc was thinking ahead, and each of the characters had something up his sleeve, showing that they are thinking on a higher level than we're used to. I also liked how they have decided to get rid of all of the "Spider-Island" and surveillance stuff. It looks to be an interesting story, and they also are building toward Peter coming back...but what will it be like when he comes back?

Lots of questions and I am looking forward to the ride, anyone else?

I have to wait for my comics to arrive at the end of the month but I've really enjoyed the setup so far. It has been an entertaining subplot in the book for a while now. The idea of a large goblin family is pretty cool.

It has been a great ride so far, and I think the big finale is going to be great.

Biggest question for me is "Who is the Green Goblin?"
    Pretty sure it isn't Norman.

also... "What will happen to poor Carlie Cooper?"

At first I read that as "What will happen to poor Carlie Pooper?"

I'm so ready to get rid of Ock and bring back Peter.

Some things that I am wondering is...

What effects will Peter suffer from the merger with Ock and what is going happen to Anna Maria ?
  • This run is kind of bittersweet is because I am going to miss Doc Ock as Spidey. Also I decided to stop buying floppies and start a stronger move toward digital and trades. Need to get rid of stuff.

I hope that when Peter gets back that he sees that Doc Ock actually tried to live up to his potential as twisted as it was. So I guess Peter will actually be Dr. Peter Parker?
