Comics Trading Post | Comics to Trade

I've bought & sold many funny books online in my quest to complete my comics collection (the elusive goal), but when buying duplicates by mistake, multiple lots and other such bundles, I've wound up with many issues I have no use for. Other than taking them to my LCS (who doesn't have the back issues I need to fill my own collection holes) or posting them to Ebay to sell, I've thought about trading with other collectors, which is something @JamieD used to mention a lot. I've traded comics via on this forum with @Elsiebub in the past, but after hearing @Pants discuss trying to fill some of his bronze runs with reader copies of Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Two-In-One on the recent Episode 1487: Talkback and floating the idea in that feedback section, both @shroud68 and @hauberk seemed to agree so I've started this trading thread.

Most of what I'm looking for are bronze-age, with a few copper-age items thrown in. There may even be a 'chromium age' issue or two in this list. I think a list of books you're putting up for trade along with a list of books you're trying to acquire would be the simplest way to do this. Book for book in most cases. If someone has a book you want and you have something to trade that they need or may be interested in, just PM them by clicking on their avatar image and then hitting 'Message' there. Pretty much the idea is to trade evenly, book-for-book, and simply pay for the postage to ship the items to the other person. Obviously not everything will equate to even trades according to guide, and not everyone will agree on grading, so this is pretty much a 'reader copy' trade, but a little negotiation is encouraged in such cases. This will rely heavily on the honor system and best practice would be to provide one another with a tracking number (included with USPS priority mail).

Other suggestions are welcome...

I'll try to get mine posted this week. The wants are easier to identify than the duplicates and other books to trade.

I can relate. Funny how I've kept up more with the books I don't have than the books I do. I keep my "want" list on my phone, but I was lucky enough to have prepped an eBay pile in advance so I was able to render my "trading" list quicker than usual. Take your time and hopefully this thread will be of use to quite a few of us geeks around here.

Okay fellas, I waited three weeks and no one posted anything for trade so most of this stuff just went to Ebay as bundles, many sets of 10 books starting around .99 plus shipping. At least take a look.

Bronze, Copper & Modern age floppies. TPB's and some full runs/ Some modern books include digital copies.

Sorry, wrapping up a hectic summer swim season. I'm through my want list and about halfway through my need list.
