Rose City Comic Con

I'm from the West Coast and finally, after all these years, have decided to go to my first convention, Rose City ComicCon.
Sept 20 - 21 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.

I live about five hours away, and want to make the most of this experience.

Questions:
To anyone who has ever been to this show, is there anything I need to know about it? Is a good show for sales? Cosplay? Autographs?

Are there any of you forum members out there there are going to be at the show? If so, is there any interest in a meet-up?

What other activities would comic fans advise to do while in The Rose City? Best place to eat? Stay?

I've never been to the Rose City Con, but I have been to Portland a few times. I recommend visiting Powell's Books

You could check their Facebook page if they have one (they should) and see if you can ask past attendees there. Twitter and Instagram to check out cosplayers. I do that to check out cons sometimes. Congrats on your first con and check out the past episodes dealing with preparing for cons by CGS.

I'll second that recommendation. Powell's is a bookstore without peer. It's so big, they hand out maps at the front door.
