Fox has given a pilot commitment for a remake of the Steven J. Cannell series from the 1980s. Phil Lord and Chris Miller, the directors of the 21 Jump Street remake movie, starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum, which was another classic TV series from Cannell in the 80s, are spearheading the production.

I loved a Greatest American Hero but there is nothing about that statement that gives me any hope.

I liked the 21 Jump Street movie. I thought it was really funny. So I'm in for them to take a shot at The Greatest American Hero as an action/comedy show.

They also made The Lego Movie. So I think their track record isn't too bad so far.

I was too young to catch this first run but I remember an episode where he gets attacked by demons in a wall or something like that? I should look it up. What a scary episode as a kid.

Kudos to the guys for getting a deal that make s Fox either air the pilot or pay out money for not airing it. I hope it's done well, GAH was and still is one of my favorite shows, I'm up to see a new take on it. I had better see the government liason eating dog biscuits though.
