If you have not read the final issue of All-Star Western check it out. The interior and cover art by Cooke is fantastic & the story does a fine job of concluding the series.
Is this the first time DC has utilized one of its artists across the board like this? I know Marvel uses Skottie Young. And Alex Ross is all over. But a month dedicated to one artist is interesting. I would probably chase a single artist variant theme over many months rather than all in one. Especially if it was someone with the same level of emotion as Cooke. But with them being all in one month I'll have to pick. and choose.
Who else do we think could warrant a full month devoted to just themselves? That isn't already doing DC covers or interiors? Bill Sienkiewicz? Jeff Smith? Art Adams?

It tells a story, and we get to see Batman smile!
I have no interest in the books these will be wrapped around.
