Was someone here a Puma Blues fan?

I was thinking about Puma Blues the other day.

I bought & read the whole series, but all I can remember about it is that it was beautifully illustrated.
  • This is great news. I have the first collection, but have yet to find the second for a reasonable price. It's also great that more of these "hidden gems" of the 80's indy companies are being brought to light. Hard for me to believe that these works are 20 - 30 years old at this point.

I don't remember if any of the regular board members talked about it a lot, but I could easily be forgetting. I do know that podcaster and occasional poster @MisterPhil‌ is a big fan of Puma Blues and talked it up a lot. Maybe he is who you are thinking of?

Like @SolitaireRose‌ I am also glad a lot of these classics are coming back into print, as a lot of these are ones I missed and only know by reputation.
  • Just wanted to share this new PUMA BLUES cover, with art by Michael Zulli, for the collection coming out next year from Dover.

I remember an Indy Spinner Rack where Mr. Phil went on and on about his love for the title.
