One of the more memorable Hulk stories I've read, Peter David and George Pérez’s
Future Imperfect tale from 1993 saw the green goliath transported a 100 years into a dystopian future ruled by an even more powerful version of himself called the Maestro, and in complete control of his Bruce Banner mind.
Hickman’s New Avengers run has been slowly revealing itself to be a play on DC’s Crisis On Infinite Earths, and such a structure would facilitate the return to these imperfect worlds and the other storylines referenced in Marvel’s 2015 teaser campaign.

So in this case, instead of selling a toy line, it might introduce new or new(ish) readers to some greatest hits from the backlist.
We'll see. But I'm game to give it a try. Especially with that creative team.
"WORLDS WILL LIVE, WORLDS WILL DIE..."
"This is the dream that video games are made from..."
Or maybe they'll be releasing some of these old trades with new coverart and dressing.
