New Darth Vader ongoing comic at Marvel, take my money!

DARTH VADER #1 New ongoing apparently tells it from Vader's point of view, starting with the end of A New Hope.

I'm pretty cynical about comics right now. I don't buy any monthlies, or if I do its few and far between trying to check stuff out. Mostly, I but trades of well reviewed series that I have to catch up on (like Preacher, Locke and Key, Ghostbusters). But... I love Star Wars and I love Vader.

This looks very intriguing. The one thing about it that I'm not so sure about is that like everything else Marvel is doing for Star Wars, the Dark Horse series that just came out dealt with all of this. The Darth Vader stuff. The Princess Leia stuff. It was all done in the Star Wars series that dealt with events between A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back. Still, this should be pretty interesting to see.
