"Official" CGS All-Stars Fantasy Baseball 2015

48 more days until baseball season!!! The long time CGS H2H fantasy baseball league has an opening. One of the 14 teams is not returning. This is the first year we are a keeper league, so if you're interested in taking over the team, please let me know.

We may have more openings (we arte discussing it as a league) - in which case you would enter at a small disadvantage, with no keepers - but we only allow 5 keepers, so it would not be that big a penalty.

Here is the team that is available.

Our keeper rules are: "You can choose up to 5 keepers - 2 hitters, 2 pitchers, and a hitter or pitcher. If you got him in the 2014 draft, you will lose the spot 2 rounds above in the 2015 draft. Free agents are considered obtained in the last round (22). If you keep 2 players in the last round, you lose the round above for the second guy (or third, etc.). If you picked up a player off the Wire who was drafted by another team (then dropped) he retains his 2014 draft round value."

I might be interested. Am I to understand it is a head to head league?

Yes- 14 teams, mixed league, head to head. 6x6 league (avg, hr, RBI, sb, ops, r x w, s, era, whip, k, holds). Top 6 teams make the playoffs. $25 entrance fee. 4 of 14 teams get payouts.

It's a pretty low key league in terms of time commitment, even though it's a daily league. I guess the low stakes help with that. Pretty stable league too, which is fun. Most of the teams have been with it for quite a while, with a few newbies each year.

We actually HAVE a 14th person ready to take over the free team - but he's a friend of one of the owners, and I would prefer to give precedence to someone from these boards.
