Earth 2 Questions

I am interested in getting into some of the Earth 2 titles before convergence, but not sure if I can just jump in. Can I jump into Earth 2 World's End without any pre-reading? The first issue was pretty confusing, but I'm willing to jump back in. How about the regular Earth 2 series? What about JLA: Earth 2 by Grant Morrison?

Earth 2 Worlds End ties in pretty tightly with the Earth 2 title. The characters, for the most part, aren't radically different than prior incarnations but there are background circumstances specific to each.

I can't help much on the recent version of Earth 2. Regarding the Morrison/Quitely Earth 2, it probably won't add to your readiness for Convergence, but it is a really fun read. And could add to your enjoyment of Multiversity, if you are reading or plan to read that.
