First, let me just state right off the bat, this is a fan-film. (Granted, Tim Russ is more than just a fan.)
Now, I enjoy some fan-films, but it's rare that I'll be intrigued enough to initiate a discussion thread over one.
I singled out this particular fan film for a couple reasons. One, the trailer features some familiar faces. Two, it appears to have somewhat decent special effects. In any event, the trailer enticed me, and that's what a trailer should do. Granted, if this was something Paramount had put out there, I might be panning it right now, but I hold those with loftier budgets to loftier production standards.
