First Ever CGS Video Show!

Hey everyone,

It's long been a dream of mine to do a video version of CGS. Thanks to our very generous audience we have finally been able to make it happen.

Things are still a little rough around the edges, but it's just our first try. So please check it out (or at least part of it) and let us know what you think.

I watched the first half hour of this one. And really enjoyed having the video option. I then listened to the rest at work. I think the video option could really come into its own on those episode where the whole gang is in.

Hopefully you guys have some plans for some shorter video exclusive episodes too?

Maybe a tour round the studio?

Some @Pants led original art episodes?

I enjoyed it. Having the cameras focus on who's talking is nice. For a rough first try it's pretty slick. Great job Bryan.

Definitely. I'm not too keen on showing off my original art, but I think there may be some video only World of Toys episodes in our future.

I loved this format. The video definitely adds a little bit of context to those pauses and tangents. Think I'll continue viewing when video is available. It's amazing how people don't look the way you have imagined them to look in your head. :)

Well done folks. I quite enjoyed having the option of either audio or video, and as others have said this was a really good first effort. Looking forward to seeing more of these to come.

Also, the good thing about having a video feed is that if the audio recording ever fails, you can always just grab the audio from the video as a last resort! :D

Watched about 30 minutes liked what I saw. A few things that I'm sure will be addressed. Bill's seat, seems to be in awkward position. Also it appears the mics do block the faces a bit though that could be personal preference

The nature of a round table makes it difficult to get good lighting and good camera angles from all sides.

Most of the time there are four or fewer people in the studio, so the situation with Bill won't often be a problem.

And the mics in faces will no longer be a problem with our next video episode.
