I thought the bit about the names Siegel and Shuster being misspelled on the check particularly fascinating. I was wondering if the family could make a case that the rights were never technically sold, since their names were misprinted? Probably not because the bank honored the check anyway and I'm sure there was other binding paperwork involved in the transaction. Interesting nonetheless.
