Do you guys remember this gem?!?! This is the pilot for an X-Men animated series, that was cut short by Marvel Entertainment Groups financial problems. This was animated by Toei Animation, the amazing studio that gave us GI Joe, Transformers, Inspector Gadget, My Little Pony, Real Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles etc...
In my opinion, this animation is 100x better than the X-Men animated series that everyone is familiar with that premiered in 1991. It was animated by a Korean animation studio.

"In 1991, Margaret Loesch became head of Fox Children's Network. Having championed the Pryde of the X-Men pilot in 1989, she was quick to set up an order for 13 episodes of X-Men.[4] X-Men was originally to premiere over the Labor Day weekend in September; due to production delays, it was pushed to the end of October. WOW! Batman was not even in that cartoon?? Are you telling me that there was a point in time when Aquaman was more popular than Batman?!?!
"Plans were cancelled when CBS secured the animation rights to Batman in the wake of ABC's recent success with the Batman live action television series.[4]
Subsequently in 1968, the series became The Batman/Superman Hour, with new Superman/Superboy and Batman segments.[4]"
