Thanks to linking to all these.

    Some initial thoughts--

For Marvel. Damn. That is a LOT of Civil War tie-ins. I bought way in on the original Civil War. I don't anticipate doing that again. (Though I'm sure I will read the event more broadly after the fact via Marvel Unlimited).

I'm glad that Civil War is not interrupting everything I am reading, though. At least, not yet.

It is nice to see that the main Civil War story looks to be giving Captain Marvel a push. I feel like she has been (at least in the books I have been reading) underused the last couple of years.

The new Rom series can't get here soon enough.

I'm quite surprised that my list of Marvel titles this month is almost nothing. I see quite a lot of "back of the book" publishers with some items I am interested in, but I did see a tick up in DC titles too. My pull list is shifting...

Betty & Veronica #1 — Adam Hughes interior art!
The Signature Art of Brian Stelfreeze — If I can afford it this month.
Adventure Time Comics #1 — New AT ongoing with cool indie artists. I’m in. Katie Cook in the first issue!
Black Hammer #1 — new Jeff Lemire series
    Harrow County vol. 3
Batman ’66 Meets the Aven—I mean Steed and Mrs. Peel #1 — I’ve never been that big on Man from U.N.C.L.E., but I love me some Avengers.
Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers tp — I won't be buying this myself, because I bought the single issues, but I highly recommend it, especially if you've read the original Kirby story.
Snotgirl #1 — A new series by Bryan Lee O’Malley. I'll give it a shot.
Prophet vol. 5 tp — This has been a really cool series, and this wraps it up.
Weirdworld vol. 1 tp — Again, not buying the trade because I've been buying it as it comes out, but I thought I'd mention this as I don't hear anyone talking about it. It’s been a very fun series, with some very cool artwork. No continuity knowledge required, so if you're remotely curious, I encourage you to pick this up.
The Sixth Gun vol. 9 tp — I'm a couple of volumes behind on the series, but this is where it ends. Good stuff.

Another month where the combined forces of DC and Image conspire to bankrupt me. And I haven't even seen the manga solicits for the month.
