I picked up Infinite Kung Fu, Box Office Poison, Pterodactyl Hunters in the Gilded City, and Blue. Haven't read them, but I've heard good things about them all.
I got the first book of Essex from the library years ago and never read the other two.
I read the first two trades from the library last year. For some reason they wouldn't order the 3rd trade. Which is unusual since they never deny any book requests I make. I may have to check this sale out.
Lots of good stuff on sale from Top Shelf right now--got Infinite Kung Fu, Box Office Poison, a couple of volumes of Owly, Far Arden, Essex County, and others.
Box Office Poison is my all-time favorite comic. I also got the digital version when it came out, and reread it last weekend. Still great, as far as I'm concerned. Essex County and Owly are great also.
Best sale ever (or since I do my shopping at comixology...) \:D/
I already own 8 books (paper) out of the dozen currently on sale. Now getting the other ones digital - but I most likely will get the paper versions as well - since TopShelf does awesome books.
I got Blue for .99. I'm going to read it tonight. I really want to try out the Harvey P but I have already spent too much. I might still get it just because of his reputation.
And, given that I just read that it includes 50 pages of unprinted material (two new stories) I will get that later tonight. Looks like whenever I re-read Essex County, it will be on the iPad instead of the page.
(Though I am very glad to have my single volumes, including one that I got signed and sketched in by Lemire at the MOCCA three or four years ago).
Just bought Essex County. Looking at some other Top Shelf stuff (not on the sale list, but still very inexpensive)... Johnny Boo, Monkey Vs Robot, and Pirate Penguin Vs Ninja Chicken. They all look to be fun (and kid friendly for my son).
I finished Lost Dogs and Pterodactyl Hunters too and they also didn't do a lot for me. Some good art but not much more. I am enjoying Essex County so far though.

That is ridiculous.
