Elseworlds Women in Comics
Hello fellow comic fans! I'm putting together my honors thesis and am working on a hypothesis of mine. That female versions of male characters were foreshadowed at least ten years before their first appearance. The inspiration for this was the Marvel What If? Jane Foster Wielded the Hammer of Thor. If anyone knows other such occurrences like this please let me know, or characters that you know for a fact were not teased before, such as Batwoman. Thanks everyone for all your help!
