More Moriarty?

Anyone know if there's going to be any more of the Image book Moriarty or is it done? I haven't seen a new issue in a couple of months, and haven't seen anything solicited since the second trade.

I know there are other fans around here (@David_D for one), so I was hoping maybe someone else knew something that I didn't.

I talked to Daniel Corey at Image Expo about this, he said that it would continue, but there would be a little bit of time between arcs. This is a part time thing for them, so they can't keep it up regularly. They plan to release arcs sort of as individual mini-series.

a lot of image books where there is a smaller creative team, they will take a 2-3 month break in between arcs. gladstones is taking something like a 9 month break in between arcs. it sucks, but it is for the best.

Oh, good, Gladstone's was another book I was worried about. That first trade was awesome.

yup, I loved this book. they are returning sometime towards the end of the year is what they said when I asked on their facebook page.

I think the end of the last issue they published, and it was a little confusing since it almost looked like it was an ad for a trade, said that next would be "The Lazarus Tree Volume 2", so I think that is meant to be where they will continue things later in the year. No solicits yet, though.

Looking forward to more, even though I thought that Lazarus Tree ended sort of abruptly, and was as strong as where it started (or as strong as the excellent Dark Chamber). Still, though, it is a great book, and I look forward to more.

I just got my Lazarus Tree Vol. 2 Trade in the other day. I'm definitely down for more, but I enjoy it way more in trade form.

I keep thinking I should switch to trades, but at the same time I want to support it so to help ensure that the book keeps going.

I definitely get that and usually I do but honestly I think this is a book that should just be a GN, not a monthly comic. It reads entirely differently in trade and I love it way more.
