The father of the Cobra has passed. I can remember the first time I saw a Shelby Cobra up close and got to sit in it when I was six years old. RIP good sir, thank you for fueling many of my childhood need for speed fantasies.

He & my late father were acquaintances.
They both went through the Enlisted Pilots program in WWII.
