Mads as Surtur would be awesome. I just hope Loki plays a X2 Magneto role and isn't just thrown to the sidelines completely. Hiddleston is a beast of a performer on screen and his ability to emote subtly is astonishing.
Rumor has it Disney will make an offer to Chuck's Zachary Levi, who was actually their first choice to play Fandral in the original film.

I first saw Jaime Alexander in the first Rest Stop film. And she was really good in that film. Then months later I saw her in Hallowed Ground,which is a made for SYFY film. It also has a pre-Kick ass Chloe Moretz in it.
Unfortunately, Mads Mikkelsen had to drop out of Thor. He is the lead in NBC's Hannibal pilot, which is shooting at the same time. He would possibly had portrayed the lead villain.
This is working out so well with Thor. He stays in the Nine Realms for his movies and then they bring him to Earth for the Avengers. And in his movies I guess the mythical creatures are more of a match for him. Can't wait.
